These pencils have a unique code on them that are stamped in pairs of 2 per code. When you buy one pencil, either the buyer before or after you will also receive a pencil that has the same code as yours. That person is now forever your pencil pal!

Perhaps you'll never really find out who your pencil pal is, or maybe they'll post their pencil using the #pencilpals tag.
